The problem is exposed by the driver, but I think you have a race
condition in your code. The dash should wait for the search to finish
before launching the application instead of running the first thing
shown when enter is pressed.

Though I'm confused why it seemed to install without any problems on my
computer. Have you checked with another mirror (or the main server) in
case the mirror you are using might be out of sync?
