I am running Cataylst drivers on ATI hardware and see the same behavior.
This needs to be moved to a more general topic than nvidia driver bug.
Also, it may be related, but often times the window will open with the
title bar and menus offscreen top left. Have to use the keyboard to move
it back.
The MIR hasn't been approved so we have to use the upstream tarball with
pre-generated docs.

I build, install and test current Debian package on current precise and
work after make same change:
Changing the default driver setting in GConf from any to v4l2 and
/dev/radio to dev/radio0.
I think is need same patch for fix V4L2 detection after sync.

Can everyone please do the following tests:
Open an application like evince, gedit, Firefox, ... Print a document
into a PDF file by using the Print to file function of the print
dialog anmd choose PDF as output format or use the attached
Ausgabe.pdf.
Convert it to PostScript via
pdf2ps
