After a fresh install from 11.04 to 12.10 I can no longer use Super+U,
Super+J, Super+M, for audio controls (volume up, volume down, mute).
I assume this is caused by the shortcuts overlay. Disabling it in CCSM
does not help, the keybinds remain useless (unless I replace 'Super'
with 'Ctrl' or
I have two 12.04 machines, one of which was not able to connect to a
shared folder in the other.
The problem was solved when on the server side I added myself as one of the
users of Samba

would be nice if somebody having it could send the bug to the developers

This bug also affects me. The suggested workaround works for me. I
figured out how to reproduce the bug everytime (at least in my case):
1) Maximize a window to the secondary monitor
2) Unmaximize the window on the secondary monitor.
3) Resize the window so that it is too big to fit in the
Ubuntu Precise contains version 23.3 which according to the above
comment should contain fix for this issue. Could you please try to
upgrade your Ubuntu and see if the problem is solved?

Updating my Mandriva Linux system has been without this manual
intervention. This has been a growing problem with Ubuntu Linux where
the wrong software sources are automatically used. Should this continue
to happen where Ubuntu causes these upgrade problems where other Linux
distros like
Perhaps 7.0.27 doesn't have the negative interaction with with the patch
like 7.0.24/26 do...?

Yes, I confirm the bug, but I have more info.If I open Rhythmbox and
I activate the plugin the music info appears in Empathy and works. But
If I close Rhythmbox or Empathy ( one of them ) and then I try to test
