I haven't experienced any kernel panics with the v3.5-rc4-quantal kernel
yet, but another problem not present in the earlier kernel version has
been occurring. I don't know whether its related to wifi.
The problem is that during boot up, the computer hangs before rendering
of the Ubuntu login scre
I've managed to reproduce the issue and the patched kernel solves the
issue.

I figured out what's going wrong. Every time my computer resumes from
suspend, the indices of the sound sinks and sources change in pulseaudio
(you can see this by doing `pacmd list-sinks` or `pacmd list-sources` .
I force the same card to be selected by creating the following script

upstream with 4.1 that adds support for -user and -group to dhcpd.
I confirmed with the testcase above that groups is properly set using
