I can confirm the reports of #16 and #17: settings are not applied when

because, according to http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qt.html,
Qt::Key_Calculator is not mapped on X11 and Qt::Key_Launch1 must be used
instead. Anyway, even if the problem is with Qt, your path probably will
not be accept,
Leonardo is right. It would likely take a while for Qt to apply this
patch, it's better to patch kdelibs now than to wait for the change to
come through Qt assuming they agree to change it.
