I can confirm that the clipboard corruption happens with simply minimizing
vinagre and opening it again.(sometimes)

nothing works with adjusting brightness keys. With acpi_osi='!Windows
2012' work ALL Fn+Fx keys!
I only can tell that if I manually adjust brightness with

You say we are waiting for an SRU but what does stable even mean coming
from you people? This release (13.04) was supposed to be stable but is
filled with bugs. So now we are waiting for a stable update for Unity
to fix this regression, why? The fix works, and has been comiited, why
I have this problem as well, after upgrading to 13.04 (did not
experience it before). I've tried upgrading to the 3.9 kernel, but no
difference (if anything it crashes more often). There is nothing as such
