I am also having this issue after upgrading from Lubuntu 13.04 to 13.10.
However, I have my power settings to just turn off the screen when my
laptop is closed. Sleep and hibernate are disabled unless I manually
select them from the logout menu. But the logout menu is having its own

Hi Daniel,
I was able to get my system to A18 of the BIOS. The X31 version was an
experimental version, but surprisingly it prevented this bug. I ran
some tests by installing and booting a Saucy LiveCD on the machine.
Here are some results:
BIOS set to Legacy mode and pressing F12 during
bug 1243801 is likely a side effect for the lack of dbus permissions in
the AppArmor profile.

Very puzzling because I first I used the GUI without invoking it from a
terminal. It worked for a while and then silently went away. Not even

Based on the liboverlayscrollbar frames in the trace, this is probably
related to bug #1208583. It might even be a duplicate, though the
symptoms and stack trace are slightly different. Regardless, running
export LIBOVERLAY_SCROLLBAR=0 should probably fix the issue. If it
does I will reassign this

Problem:
If you run a full screen application by itself (no other apps running),
such as mediaplayer-app, and put it in landscape mode, tapping the
bottom edge triggers the switch app gesture.
Expected results:
Tapping the edge of the screen should do nothing except pass

Please don't forget to include build option --enable-kdrive-evdev in
deban/rules! This is necessary for Xephyr-based multiseat setups (e.g. 2
seats using a single dual-head graphics card). In my work, I have some
setups of this kind.
One more thing: lately my tries to build xorg-server
@TomasHnyk: To double-check, could you build the ubuntu package on your
system?

* The TLDE key (left of the 1 key) should have the paragraph symbol, and the
plusminus symbol when SHIFT is held down.
Instead, it has the accent grave and tilde symbols, respectively.

Since the upgrade to 13.10 two days ago my laptop goes into hibernation
mode when I close the lid. When I open it again it takes a couple of
seconds, then I login and find that I do not have a network connection
anymore. Also I am not able to re-enable the network connection
I am having this issue as well. I had a box hang at boot.
No text display (boot messages) and my keyboard doesn't work either
(USB).
Hooking up a usb keyboard and hitting control-d (even though I can't see
anything on the screen) eventually lets Ubuntu boot normally. I can't
believe this bug
