Following the instructions from post #91 I now have a Lenovo T520 that
can be suspended by lid-close with light-locker.
But, FN-F4 as well as using Suspend from the XFCE panel will not lock

While the boot parameter "i915.disable-pch_pwm=0" worked on ubuntu 12.04 with
kernel 3.8.0-35.50, it doesn't seem to work for me on ubuntu 14.04 with kernel
3.13.0-24.
I dual boot windows so I cannot enable legacy options rom.
Is there no other solution ?

It was a long time ago but if I remember correct it appeared to be a
server problem which causes the dump at the client side.
So the message is being given if the repository can not be reached.
(Same thing will happen if you try to checkout from a server which does
not run subversion).

broken symlink; needs to be done before 'apt-get upgrade'.

no sounds in 4.3b1 on win7 x64
on 4.3.0b1 on a windows 7 x64 i don't have sounds to select.
further (when the options on the right side are hidden) a right click on
the foil and in the menu selecting transition, doesn't do anything.

New step by step:
1) Install LibreOffice
2) Install language pack (for me french language pack, like yhis one:
LibreOfficeDev_4.3.0.0.beta1_Linux_x86-64_deb_langpack_fr.tar.gz)
3) Open a new presentation document
4) Add a Smiley face from the Symbol Shape set
5) Select the Smiley face and click o

I'd close the bug, crypttab looked that way on 13.10 and was changed in
14.04 - but that change brought regressions (#1310058, #1303002) so I
would keep it as-is.
