For a workaround, symlinking x86_64-efi to i386-pc works:
$ sudo mkdir -p /mnt/root-tmp
$ sudo /dev/your-root-partition /mnt/root-tmp
$ cd /mnt/root-tmp/usr/lib/grub
$ sudo ln -s x86_64-efi i386-pc
Then re-run the command to install grub-efi-amd64-signed.

output, it has two possiable causes:
1, BIOS issue
2, kernel driver issue
I asked you to test 3.13.0-031300 kernel, which has no O2Micro
initialization codes, the result turns out the hardware won't disappear.

From the error message this seems to be VirtualBox problem. The earlier
Qt bug #1129061 (unrecognized OpenGL version) was fixed in Qt 5.2.0.

older VirtualBox might have worked better.

After the OS boots, the keyboard and the touchpad crash and I cannot
even type my password to log in.
This bug is a quite old one, and present in multiple distributions, so I
think it might be a kernel bug, but I am not sure.
The OS itself doesn't freeze, I can use a mouse
The linked branch should help with the problem, at the cost of an extra
round-trip to the upstream archive.

This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. From

I think there are several glitches here:
1. There is too much space between the icon and Display. (Even more
than between the icon and the edge of the screen!)
2. English (United States) would be both shorter, and less
overbearing, as English (US).
3. Whenever a summary value does not fit in a
