I did not succeed in running the proposed update in Ubunto 15.10. I
re-installed Ubuntu 15.10 several times and each time it developed the same
error when I installed the AMD video driver. I got tired of it and I now
installed Mint 17.3, which seems to be based on Ubuntu, and that works
flawlessly
I understand that the card type used in the soundcloud scope does not support
inline playback just yet, so we should either add that to the card (in unity8),
or we should make the scope use the right card type.

It looks like the issue of reporting the uuid device instead of the
actual device is a initramfs issue. Basically df will report whatever
is in /proc/self/mountinfo, and this appears to be an issue with how
fstab is processed. I still have to fully root cause that.

Even i am facing the same issue, while updating ubuntu it stops at
installing grub and it freeze the entire laptop if do a force restart it
taking me to grub terminal due to this again i have to reinstall ubuntu

This is expected behaviour within Lubuntu where the RAM overhead is
quite large compared to what lubuntu itself needs to run. Where this not
used, the minimal RAM for running a Live instance would be greater than
we currently state as required.

This bug is causing dual monitor problem for me as well. It looks like
it was registered a long ago, when can I track if it gets fixed? It is
quite annoying that there are two options: either use laptop's display
only or use laggy open drivers...
