I'm using Firefox 46.0+build5 on Ubuntu 16.04 and this bug just hit me
after many years of using the global dark theme (Adwaita + Humanity Dark
icons).
If I turn off the "Global Dark Theme" in Gnome tweak tool, everything is

requires a hard power cycle, holding in of power button for 5 seconds. I
have various sensor apps running and am quite sure not temperature
related. PC has two drives, sda is spinning disks (corporate Windows
installed, AKA not booted very often) and sdb is a sanDisk solid
Same here - fresh install of Ubuntu 16.04 - and the exact behavior Adam
describes above (Encryption with proprietary Nvidia driver). 'quiet
nosplash' works.

Seems better now (OTA-10.1-20160408.4), percentage behaves correcly between 10

So @Sebastien Bacher (seb128) the old Ubuntu Software Center all
applications were shown. However the new Ubuntu Software Center does not
index all applications, not even installed applications

Ok some more info/test results. It seems both urllib3 AND the keystone
charm need fixing:
1. urlib3 needed this to get working with v6 addresses -

2. the keystone charm does not re-run ensure_intial_admin() once
