Turns out that unlabelled slider is the wheel scroll speed. Setting it

The solution suggested by @Cruz Fernandez (cruz-fernandez) works for me.
Tested on ubuntu 15.10 64bit. I executed the following command, before doing
"apt install i8kutils" again.
sudo modprobe i8k force=1

FTR, some test cases (like test_install_old_packages) were my fault, and
fixed in http://bazaar.launchpad.net/~apport-
hackers/apport/trunk/revision/3091 . But others like
test_install_package_from_a_ppa should work, they install the GPG key in
the current apport version already.
