used to poll once a second, which would hide legacy irq issues during
initialization, but 4.5 removed it. A patch[*] to 4.6 removed all use of

Yes, I have hit this bug with my laptop during xenial release sprint. My
understanding was that we have agreed to make -signed to be installed by
default, however naive approach was shut-down due to dependency cycle
(can't remember exactly now). At the time I have manually installed
-signed to get
Oops. Forgot to mention that I had to change the rule a little bit
because the idVendor is 4255 on the GoPro Hero 3+Black camera. You can
get the idVendor from the /var/log/syslog file when the device
enumerates.

with a GoPro Hero 3+Black camera over USB with a serial interface that
enumerates as ttyACM device files. The Linux host was a Banana Pi
running this build of Linux.
