need to backport the support to Xenial release.
Besides 704d2b0 and 7a1a47c which are already in Xenial, we still needs

1. I installed lxde lxdm and network-manager-gnome and try to connect
to a wifi in scan list.
2. I expect to ask password when network-manager-gnome detect a wifi
with WPA-PSK
3. network-manager-gnome does not ask password and fail with an error , if
i add gnome-keyring it correctly ask for
Yep, the bug seems to have gone away now. I had seen it on a couple of
yakkety systems though :S

There's not any newer stable release, and hasn't been for 6 years. The PPA
shown above packages an SVN snapshot for ubuntu and I've been using it for a
while without any problems. It fixes the DooM crash too.
