Today, I noticed the dialer app will not start. Visually, a title bar
appears labelled "Phone", with the rest of the screen white (no loading

It appears that when cups was updated it did not carry the old
parameters across to the new con-fig files.
Removing the printer then removing and purging the cups file then
reinstalling using the Brother install script (.sh) file has worked.
