In Zesty proposed you can find 16.11 in Yakkety the latest stable release being

Have same issue with 4.4.0-59-generic kernel - tried the steps above
with newest RC kernel but unable to use this as, among other things, zfs
doesn't work with 4.10. Tested by upgrading to ubuntu 16.10 to test on

I just got another reboot using 4.4.0-58-lowlatency, so I guess it
wasn't exactly the kernel change that triggered this. Attached is a new
kernel log with several backraces showing the i915 driver and drm. I
notice there were a few drm packages updates also:

Support for decoding bpf() syscall arguments with current packaged
version of strace is incomplete.
In particular, on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS with kernel 4.4.0, strace is packaged in
version 4.11 and does not decode arguments for bpf(BPF_OBJ_PIN, …) or
bpf(BPF_OBJ_GET, …) calls.

It could be fixed in Ubuntu MATE if they had their own fork of Déjà-Dup,
like they have their own fork of Files, Gedit, Eye of GNOME, Evince,
GNOME Terminal, File Roller.
Another Nautilus fork, Nemo, retained the name Files for its icon in the
menus. Didn't MATE did the same?
I can only suggest
the core issue here was originally a not unmounted SD card when dd'ing
to it, not actually an issue with resize, closing

I am trying to install ubuntu 16.04 on an lvm partition created on my
main disk where a windows partition is also present. I was using 14.04
and grub before. But now it crashes upon installation as grub cannot be
found. Even though I end up in grub on bootup. I've tried
