It is intermittent for me, and not immediately reproducible, however I
was able to reproduce it and grab some journalctl lines via SSH if it is
at all helpful.
I should also add that I have set gnome-tweak-tool -> Power -> Suspend
when laptop lid closed -> Off

cloud-init has never updated resolv.conf directly.
/etc/resolv.conf in 16.04 is managed via resolvconf through
/etc/network/interfaces.
/etc/resolv.conf in 18.04 is managed via systemd-resolve (netplan ->
systemd-networkd -> systemd-resolve).
Can you provide the content of:

After updating to 4.4.0-112 on xenial, getting constant buffer underruns
in pulseaudio, causing frequent clips where the audio cuts out for a
fraction of a second.
Booting back into 4.4.0-108 consistently resolves this issue.

problems with my system, after this i changed Ubuntu in Xubuntu, i do not know
