I decided to break out the /usr/lib64/sane thing to bug #1835220, so we
can proceed with the more important bionic fix.

I have been able to remove the /etc/init.d/ddclient sh script with the
appropriate /etc/rc*.d/*ddclient files and use the attached
ddclient.service file in the /lib/systemd/system directory.

Successfully tested for cosmic-proposed and disco-proposed:

The way I created this was to implement 2 sshd services called wan_sshd
and lan_sshd. I used the existing sshd.service files as templates. See
attached files. This solution reliably works using Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS
with OpenSSH 7.6p1.
Addition things I had to do:
1) Delete the sshd.service,
Due to comment #3 (where I got notified by IBM that it should be
'verified upfront' rather than 'upstream', which is a typo) I'm
adjusting the tags to verified-done.

The patch 0125-multiarch_dll_search_path.patch makes /usr/lib/sane be
recognized as a directory for SANE backends. However, some .deb files
with scanner drivers, typically provided by Brother, install files in
/usr/lib64/sane. It would be great if that directory could be

none this really became less and less important over time. It is fixed in ntpd
and not affecting chrony.

So, it looks like bug 1830433 didn't fix this problem... assuming it's
still an x86/mm issue, it'd be interesting to test another kernel (I've
applied a few more x86/mm-related fixes).
