I am using UBUNTU 18.10 and the driver that's provided for TP-LINK TL-WN822N is
rtl8xxxu and the problem with this driver is it has very low range signal for
detecting Access Points and most the time because of that , it can't connect to
AP and even if it connects to AP,
We will take the same interim fix, but this isn't the true solution as
one can read in the upstream discussion (size dependencies). Hence I'll
not close, but mention this bug in the upload.

One common case of facing a new dkms build error is on new uploads to the
Ubuntu archive.
Proposed migration will trigger the dkms install of a bunch of modules and e.g.
some of them will fail on a new kernel.
The default behavior has a local system & user in mind and will
OK, I did the downgrade again, without the -dev packages. There was no
error message this time about "libscupsfilters". But there still is a
sticky message on my screen's menu bar that goes like "An error
occurred, please run Package Manager or apt-get in a terminal..."
Then:"Error:
Cosmic is about to end full support, lets reduce the test matrix a bit
by already dropping the Cosmic task.
@IBM - I'm still waiting on a positive feedback on this sniff test.
Without I can't reliable make it part of the next coming (soon) qemu upload.

Maybe your files are still in locked state on the NFS system.
That you chould check with qemu-img operations, no need to start the guest.
If they are you might need to remove that lock bit (not sure how atm).

Thanks Andrea. The new kernel seems to address the problem in such a way
that the block device made available is still not immediately usable,
but the kernel crash is prevented (at least in the test runs so far).
Now errors can be handled from userspace to retry the operation in case
of failure.
