I had to attach a second keyboard to boot 5.8. Unable to enter password
at "please unlock disk sda6_crypt" with Roccat keyboard. Current 5.8
Kernel does show lights on the keyboard. 5.4 Kernel works fine.

According to the system settings (see the attached screenshot), the
laptop should go to sleep (suspend to RAM) when I close the lid.
However, closing the lid has no visible effect.
'systemctl suspend' works OK, choosing 'Leave' -> 'Sleep' in the menu
works too.

I found a report in the ZFS Github that looks a lot like my problem :

You're out of luck really, switch distributions that don't use half-
