Actually, launchpad builders use qemu-system, not qemu user mode, so the
build used to fail in launchpad because the riscv64 kernel was too old:
v5.8 whereas the commit 38f5bd23deae ("riscv: Add cache information in
AUX vector") that introduced the missing values for pocl landed in

Nice try ... but I have nothing to verify. I'd at least need a git to clone
from and build my own kernel or a kernel package or whatever to verify this.
Btw. I also do not have any 21.10 ubuntu but I think a 21.04 would work also.
Inspired by #17 - What seems to have worked for me is to disable all
nvidia service scripts.
First, can take note of current setting with:

can you please check the matter on your end and find out what causing
the problem. I am getting this after a recent updated regarding Ubuntu
base (or might be something else). So it might be happening after a

With the recent update of gnome-weather to version 40.1-1, I no longer
see the anomaly noted above, so from my point of view the bug has been
