number and product id dell wyse thin client, both had amd 1.4 Ghz processor,
2GB RAM and 8GB FLASH D. Both had the same BIOS as well.

I am running into this problem on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS (focal) when
running `dpkg --configure -a`, which is hanging when setting up `base-
files`. From diagnosis so far, it appears `dpkg --configure -a` runs
`/var/lib/dpkg/info/base-files.postinst`, which runs `deb-systemd-invoke
start motd-news.time
It turns out the package "fprintd" was not installed on my computer.
I installed it. Then I typed the debugging command. I see above that
some data was uploaded.
However, after rebooting my computer, I can't see any way to access the
FP service in order to record finger prints. There is no visibl
