In addition to John's comment, collecting and sharing cloud-init's
logs[1] (making sure no sensitive data is attached) might help us to
triage what's happening.

Setting "optional: true" to overcome he timeout "Job systemd-networkd-
I'm able to recreate this issue as well. I also want to note that the
24.04 LTS Beta also does not boot with the "Try or Install" option in
GRUB but it does boot the ISO.

mlpcap: FTBFS: utils.c:184:3: error: implicit declaration of function

Having installed Guake I tried adding `/usr/bin/guake --hide` to Startup
Applications. However, it was not in the list of startup applications
when I next booted.
I tested logging off and logging on again and found it wasn't persisting
between logins.
Data I entered was:
Marking the userspace component (src:nfs-utils) task as invalid, since
it's a bug in the kernel.
