For me this is reproducible every time I have tried. It is a bit
annoying. It is like the calculator removes the trailing 0's in hex mode..
Using the scientific calculator mode, I entered 512000 in decimal, then
switched the result to Hex. I got 7D, instead of the correct result

I have the same problem in both Firefox (2.0.0.13, maybe as far back as
2.0.0.4?) and Thunderbird (2.0.0.9) under SUSE 10.0, and then under SUSE 10.3
on 5 different computers (with almost identical hardware and nVidia drivers,

I have been wondering if this problem has something to do with the

For what it is worth i'll add a me too.
Using mdadm RAID 1 (mirroring) a pair of drives both samsungs drives are
on seperate IDE channels (one on primary one on secondary). mdadm
configured under 8.04.
While its not nice to paste directly it heaps easier then having to open
attachements, so here

I gave up on anyone fixing this problem with the ALSA in Ubuntu and all

I have an HP NC4400 which is basically the 12.1" screen version of the
NC6000 running kubuntu. I found that doing "echo 0 >
/proc/acpi/video/C085/DOS" fixes my issue with the lid switch not
responding. Ideally there should be a better fix than this though. I'd

Try an update to Firefox 3.5 (aka Shiretoko). It has more features and much
faster. I have been running it without problems on Ubuntu 9.04.

jaunty . the result is that the authentication times out for some reason

I have Jaunty running on a fresh install with all updates including KDE
4.3. There the problem started for me. Before that I had Jaunty as an
