Hi all,
It seems that I am pretty new for this issue. But from a point view of
Ubuntu kernel team, we prefer to encourage Realtek or people like you
guys to merge the driver to upstream mainline. It is much easier for us
maintain the driver. And It looks like Jaunty kernel works fine for you
guys.
I think this issue should be already fixed since Intrepid kernel. So i
will set the status to "fixed in release". If some one found similar
issue on Jaunty, please fire new bug.

Great. I found the rtl8187se driver is in stage tree of Jaunty kernel.
And also it requires too many changes to ieee80211 stack. So there is no
reason for us to back port this big change to Hardy and Intrepid. Please
use Jaunty. If you guys find any new issue about Jaunty, please fire new
bug.

tree? but I guess we need to confirm this fixing works before send out

git-core which is in Jaunty does not support git-x style command.
But guilt which is highly based on git-core still try to use this style
git commands. I pretty sure we need to upgrade guilt to be compatible
with git-core.

I already added these 3 fils to the remove file list of debian/control-
scripts/prerm. And test it on my Jaunty amd64 machine.
This bug should be fixed.

I thinkt the initrd is cramfs, so I am going to submit a patch for review.
