I can further confirm that a docx can be successfully opened within
OpenOffice 2.3 but is not associated as a writer document under Gnome;
the default behaviour is to open as an archive. This bug should really
be fixed prior to Gutsy release IMO.

Redhat has made some fonts that are metrically identical to the usable
(ie not Webdings) msttcorefonts. I have submitted a package of these to
the repository universe reviewers (but I understand Debian is also
working on packaging it - but have a concern about the licence the

Other packages such as LIRC provide a similar method to enable. In this
instance it's to ensure that the user has set the relevant rules in
place prior to starting firehol to avoid lock outs. However, it should
provide a more sane error.
