I had /usr/bin/xdvi.bin correctly linked to /etc/alternatives/xdvi.bin,
but the later was suposed to link to /usr/bin/xdvi-xaw.bin, and it
wasn't.
The following seems to be the simplest fix:
sudo update-alternatives --auto xdvi.bin
It should have been issued automatically by texlive-base-bin,
I just issued a dpkg --reconfigure and got this error:

My situation is the exact same as Philippe's. Why was Mouse Keys enabled
during upgrade? Shouldn't user prefs be honored? (ok, this is probably

I too had some but not all tex files indexed. After installing untex,
and giving it a while to catch up, I can now consistently find my .tex
files searching by name or by content.
Since untex is already registered as a dependency for tracker
(recommends), I'm concluding this is not a bug at all

files even without untex (index with \TeX tags)? This doesn't seem to be
happening.
Also I have a wishlist, that might be right for this bug report: when a

patch doesn't work for the E620, because it only looks specifically for
the id of the E220 (1003), whereas the E620 has a different id (1001).

But I don't see the /usr/share/plucker/palm dir, with the prc bins that

I have access to an E620 which suffers from the same behaviour: when
plugged, both the storage and modem devices are recognized, storage is
mounted ro, but ttyUSB devices are not created. Removing the usb-storage
module makes the ttyUSB devices to be auto-detected
