It does work fine for a newly created user.
If the configuration is broken then it's something that has happened during the
upgrade process, it was fine before.
Right-clicking on shortcuts in Places does the same thing as left-clicking: it
tries to open the link (and fails).

I have to take the hideous route from Intrepid to Lucid (Intrepid --

I OBVIOUSLY removed the locally installed CLooG when I found the problem
or I wouldn't have bothered opening the bug again!
Locally installed gcc 4.4 has THE SAME PROBLEM.

I have downloaded the extra icons and even some RIB-icon packs that, so
I'm told, looks like Visio's.
The problem being that they're not very varied. The Cisco icons are all
about Cisco but don't have
Turns out it isn't just text. It has just done the same thing again but
with a (textless) icon.
The keyboard still, so I can CTRL+S to save my progress, but the ALT
menus do not work.

ran. But if you run iperf --dualtest on the client machine the server
machine closes iperf when the test is complete.
