and then renaming as suggested by wu zhirong (wanyue103). After that I

Okay, I got it to work, too now. Nevertheless, my bluetooth does not get
initialized every time after a fresh reboot.
Trying sudo modprobe btusb then gives:
"Can't init device hci0: Connection timed out (110)".
Running a Lenovo B590 on Ubuntu 13.10.

This isn't packaged yet, so to fix it locally you can continue to use
your original udev rule. (But not the setfacl
PS: did I tell that it's only randomly working? The udev rule seems to
have not much of an effect.

I am having the same issue myself after doing a fresh install of 14.04
64-bit. I have tried most (but admittedly not all, as I am new to
Ubuntu) of the fixes listed in http://askubuntu.com/questions/17381
/unity-doesnt-load-no-launcher-no-dash-appears/ to no avail. As Ross

I no longer face this issue. Did a clean install of Ubuntu 14.04. Did
just what Claus Allweil said in his post. It works great now. Still

I am can not install Kubuntu newer than 12.04 (i.e. 13.04 - 14.04 testing). The
installer crashes after copying files, on configuring step. It shows me a
window where "ubuntu-bug ubiquity" command is suggested and all installer
windows just disappears in few seconds.
Note:
So, it looks like there's been progress on this. Because I'm a noob and
there's still so much I need to learn could someone please provide some
simple instructions for me to get the upgraded package? I'm currently
running the 32bit version of Ubuntu 13.10
