I have discovered that there are more problems with Ralink support on
the modern chipsets that what has been reported in this bug. The
included Ralink driver (Ubuntu 10.04) doesn't seem to support WiFi N and
secure connections. It is possible to gain WiFi N and secure connection

I am having this problem (or similar) when trying to make a 1:1 disc
image copy on 10.04.
Basically I was told the system was missing toc2cue and cdrdao, and that
they had to be installed manually. I installed cdrdao OK but for toc2cue
I get this message from console: 'Couldn't find any package wh
eally like them on the left, they work well, and I agree they
do leave a lot more room on the right to do something with.
If you are really that bothered about it , it takes about two seconds to
switch them the right.

I've got the same problem.
Here are the details :
- Network Manager
- rt2500pci
- Mint 9 64bits
No connection at startup, I have to manually click on "Connect to hidden
SSID" and then chose my SSID profile. Same situation onto Ubuntu 10.04.

collectd python plugin not working
To manage notifications
Did everyone die? How is it that this is marked as undecided and not
fixed? The software crashes and fails to function. If SSH crashed and
failed to function I am sure that this would not be left undecided. So
is the answer to uninstall Ubuntu and install CentOS or Debian, maybe
even Windows?
Btw I made an alias to update my laptop taking care of some of the
annoying stuff regarding this issue. Modify to fit your needs (:
alias distup='apt -y --fix-broken install && apt update && apt upgrade
