Dick, you should know gwibber only shows updates in the indicator
messages if the message contains your name in it. If it does not then
you wont be notified. Tweets are not important enough for the user to be
notified of this would create distraction. I think this was discussed in
an other bug repo

website but dont show in gwibber or come after an hour (even refreshing

Thanks for taking time to report thus bug and helping to make ubuntu
better. This is part of the design to have a session menu and a memenu
in the panel. Things will certainly evolve a bit for Maverick.

m44miri, In Lucid you dont have to add these applets to panel. battery
icon was already moved to the notification area in Kamic and also
language selector was also using notification in Karmic. In Lucid
battery icon is in indicator applet and language selector uses
notifcation area still
