for the ffmpeg suite) as it requires libavcodec-extra-52

Thanks for the attention, it's really appreciated.
Unfortunately, the Feisty installer isn't working either. So it's hard to get
debugging information.
When I dist-upgraded from Dapper, the keyboard was still not working. HOWEVER,
after a second reboot it started to work. I don't

upgrading from Dapper.
Unfortunately, I fail to see any problem with keyboard or USB
throughout. I do remember the keyboard was not working. Pressing caps
lock or num lock had no effect.

i also have this problem with a wireless card (Broadcom) and
ndiswrapper. after a few minutes of perfect work the card just stops
working with a console message of disabling irq #xxx (the irq number
changes). I am working with edgy x86 but i got the same problem with
amd64.

I had the same problem after upgrading from 2.6.20-9. It was resolved on
2.6.20-14 with Ndiswrapper 1.41 installed from the source tarball ( sudo
make uninstall, make, sudo make install). After upgrade to 2.6.20-15 I
had to repeat the proceeding. It is working with WPA on my Broadcom
Corporation
I use gnome-network-manager at first time with kernel 2.6.20-8. Since
then, a just had to reinstall ndiswrapper manually.

I should comment that in my case this problem got fixed by upgrading to
