This seems to have been happening since Thunderbird 15.0: Even though I
have Lightning (1.7b3) and Provider for Google Calendar (0.13) add-ons
installed, and the correct ICS address for my Google Calendar entered, I
am unable to see the calendar.

So, after a while of experiencing this bug with Quantal alpha 3, I can
say that I have to unplug and insert the Logitech unifying receiver
every time I reboot the laptop:
THREE (3) to FOURTEEN (14) times before the mouse
pointer can be moved.
