were set to intrepid (the act of trying to use update-manager here
leaves apt configured against intrepid already), did an 'apt-get
upgrade', and then an 'apt-get dist-upgrade -f'. This successfully
walked through the installa

Hi, I've created a PPA with a respun xxkb package for Intrepid based on
the attached debdiff, available from:

packages a person places in their PPA). It builds successfully, but I am
I also had this occur with the daily iso image build 20081015. Ubiquity
debug log is attached. The disk is currently partitioned with the
following layout (fdisk -l output):

255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 1305 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512

This problem is fixed in ubiquity 1.10.6, which did not make it in time
to be on the daily snapshot for 20081015, but should be in tomorrow's
snapshots.
For those wishing to test it out before the next snapshot is built, boot
the live cd, and then run:
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install
