For me the problem seems to be solved. The lucid live CD start normal
and 3d acceleration works.

Since I installed karmic, my 3d acceleration didn't work anymore. After
some Google searches (for example http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/ati-
radeon-9200-treiber-problem/) I found out that the radeon kernel modules
got loaded before the radeon kernel module.

I updated and the bug still exists. I have attached the output when I
run compiz --debug and the file created in /tmp. Hope you can do
something with it
