My system was un-bootable so I reinstalled 7.10 from the live CD and the

This has been happening to me (eeepc 900 / i919 video) close to 50% of
the time on 8-12 hour suspends. I usually recharge over night (and allow

I don't recall. The file (of the same name) was definitely still there
in the download directory but I didn't open Transmission first. I
clicked the torrent link on the Jaunty download page and that launched
Transmission (with a dialog to add the torrent).
For Alpha 5 I just deleted the .iso files

1) Use Transmission to download an ISO (example Jaunty Alpha 3
jaunty-desktop-amd64.iso) to ~/isos.
2) Checksum verifies fine for the downloaded file.

I've been running Jaunty since Alpha 3 on my eeepc 900 and have not yet
seen update-manager appear in the background. What I *have* been seeing
in my workflow is my session disappear every few days on resume (see

There is data loss with this bug (whatever the cause). The repro scenario:
1) Run Firefox and add a folder / bookmark
2) Leave Firefox running and stay logged in.
3) Suspend / Resume the system / charge over night
4) Wait until the session is lost (have to log in on Resume

Sorry, it is grub2 that was having the problem (it is the new interface

I duplicated this repro scenario using 1.73 on Jaunty installed from the
PPA and did not see any of the symptoms. Immediately after the
"verifying" stage the torrents began to download and share as expected.
Gnome went out to lunch (totally hung) over night but from the logs it
looked like Transmi
