Problems using nedit in Ubuntu 10.04 AMD64
Nedit works OK at first, then starts to malfunction.
Copy-paste by highlighting and middle-mouse click, or by menu, starts failing
to work within the same window.
Meanwhile, copy-pasting from elsewhere (eg xterm window) DOES work.

Intrepid, I could use the fglrx driver without problems (and indeed the
open-source driver did not work). After upgrading to Jaunty, the fglrx
driver no longer works (reporting '(EE) No devices detected.').

I'm not interested in using fglrx now the -ati drivers are working,
but I think it's important that there's a clean and obvious upgrade path
for people who used fglrx for these cards in intrepid. It is not obvious
that one must uninstall the fglrx-kernel-source package to get a working
system.
I have an ATi Mobility X1400 GPU (Thinkpad Z61m) and I see the
following:
* The fglrx driver refuses to start, saying No screens found
* With the radeon / ati driver plus the 2.6.28 kernel, I get a hard lockup in X
shortly after it starts. My system responds to SysRq.

appears asking me for my passphrase. Perhaps this is triggering some
kind of composite event which is causing the lockup?

I am experiencing a loss of audio output regarding my Ubuntu Mini 9.
Perhaps the cause is similar to cherokee's, perhaps not. Bene and
Chidester, I suspect this issue is affecting more than a few, and I
believe it has something to do with attempting to install i386 packages
on the Mini's lpia
