[Bug 1312243] Re: error messages completing args inside $()
Hei, any news here? The upstream version does contain the aforementioned patch (https://github.com/scop/bash- completion/blob/master/bash_completion#L511-L541), and it does not dump this error message everytime tab is pressed in this situation. Tab completing inside `$(` does nothing, which is a much friendlier behavior that throwing errors to the screen. [Bug 272188] Re: USB devices cause desktop to freeze in Intrepid
I'm experiencing a similar problem in a laptop running Linux Mint 9. The laptop is a Sony Vaio from the VGN series as well, and the usb device is an external 320 GB hard drive. The freeze apparently happens when moving large files in to the usb device. The folders and other stuff in the desktop remain unresponsive although I can access the files via terminal. I cannot access the usb device at all. When I unplug the usb device everything starts again, the folders I double clicked in the desktop get opened, etc. When the problem happens, the device does a low strange repetitive sound (doesn't look good). uname -a gives Linux chaba 2.6.32-24-generic #41-Ubuntu SMP Thu Aug 19 01:12:52 UTC 2010 i686 GNU/Linux I'm happy to provide any other information. I did some tests with a POP address and I was not able to reproduce. The problem is that I don't remember how I got to this situation. [Bug 314227] Re: Can't empty trash
Let's see if I manage to report it the right way. I'm using Thunderbird 2.0.0.22, and Ubuntu 9.04. Everytime I open Thunderbird, some empty folders are automatically created inside the Thunderbird trash. No matter I empty trash, next time I open thunderbird they will get recreated. If I click on any of the folders in the trash, I get the message (translated from Spanish): Current operation failed. Mail server responded: Mailbox does not exist or must be suscribed to. This problem happens since my mailbox was completely emptyed in the server. Hope this is complete enough. ** Changed in: mozilla-thunderbird (Ubuntu) Status: Invalid = New -- Can't empty trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/314227 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
