I have fixed the problem of replacing video card. My steps:
1. Disable (not uninstall!) the onboard card using Device Manager in Safe Mode
(enter by pressing F8) (now the monitor is plugged into the onboard card).
Reboot computer.
2. Enter BIOS - Advanced - PCI/PnP Configuration - Boots Graphic
But I noticed that Hardware Drivers still have the Activate button
for the NVIDIA driver. In Synaptic, I did find some items with NVIDIA
installed, eg. nvidia-common, nvidia-185-modaliases, nvidia-current-
modaliases, etc. But none of them seems to be drivers by reviewing their
