Public bug reported:

steps:
1. have a netbook that is low on power
2. plug it into a power source
3. turn on and log into the netbook, the power indicator will shoe it is 
plugged in
4. disconnect the power

Result:
The power indicator continues to display plugged in, despite the system 
displaying an indicator that power is low (see attached screenshot).
