When you think of it, it is a daunting task to write documentation for 
something 
which is so complex, changes and expands so quickly, and has so many "bugs", as 
software.

I'm in an editorial team writing a book on drystone walling, a technique 
unchanged since hundreds or thousands of years and much simpler than software. 
It is still taking us years and a great deal of money to write this book.

Now for Swiss Remix, hardly anybody wants to read software documentation unless 
it is very readable and attractively presented, like with some of the 
PC-magazines. I'm willing to try, but not in time for this release. Good idea 
to 
  refer really technical stuff to the Wiki. What is needed on-disk is enough 
info to get started before having an internet connection, and perhaps how to 
get 
this.
