4. CCSM is presumably also useful in environments other than Unity.
5. We ship lots of software of questionable and variable levels of quality
in the Ubuntu archive.
I would, however, be persuaded to change my mind if you were able to
successfully argue for it's removal from Debian
es get regenerated making it more painful if you want to
do a quick build of say simple-scan from trunk. ;)

Cody A.W. Somerville has proposed merging
lp:~cody-somerville/gdm/depend-on-minimal-gnome-session into
lp:~ubuntu-desktop/gdm/ubuntu.
Requested reviews:
Ubuntu Desktop (ubuntu-desktop)
Depend on gnome-session-bin (minimal runtime of gnome-session needed by gdm)
instead of gnome-session
, it will still lock us into a
certain image type.
Ideas? Do we decide on an image type and use symlinks? Do we do nothing? etc?
Thanks,
Cody A.W. Somerville

I've updated the xfce4-utils package. The command xfce4-about will return
the version of Xfce installed when passed --xfce-version
Thanks,

the
downloads folder on the desktop may be a wise idea if there is to be an
exclusive default folder for them.
