Hi!
I recently faced an issue that I have constantly saw during the 3-4 years.
Its also something that many friends have reported to me as well(one even
thought ext4 was not good for big files). When large files are copied over
to usb drives, that results in system getting too slow, huge lags in

Hey all,
I have been involved in bug triage for a while in Ubuntu and it seems this
scene is not that active it used to be although alot of great folks from
our community are highly devoted.
I am not sure about the reason behind that but one thing I am sure is that
previously we had running

think ubuntu ships any other development package in the cd.
Thanks!

Hi!
For 13.04 I it would be better if there was a certain effort put just into
reducing the system requirements of Unity and also making it faster on
slower machines. The problem is none of the developers of Unity or the
desktop team generally have computers that are slow for example a netbook

Hey all
It seems Unity(3d) does not work correctly when the system locale is
an RTL language. Alot of work needs to be done on the NUX/Unity front
so that won't make for the LTS. Someone wrote a patch that fallback
to unity-2d if the locale is RTL. I think this is an important issue
that needs

To my testing and usage shotwell viewer is much slower than EOG, from
opening a high resolution image to zooming on an image so there that's
a very big reason to not switch to shotwell viewer and also I believe
there are still many file formats that shotwell viewer is still not
able to open.
