we are reviewing the server seeds
(https://code.launchpad.net/~ubuntu-core-dev/ubuntu-seeds/+git/ubuntu/+ref/disco)
and the acpid package came up. It's currently in the server seed,
meaning it's installed by default.
I did some tests in a VM, and a bare metal machine, running cosmic,
and the
I tried to upgrade by copying all my personal files offline, as well as
the important changes in /etc (mainly fstab for mounting my FreeBSD NFS
server directories).
The upgrade failed. The installation was made by replacing 18.04
