UCubed, the Manchester-based Ubuntu unconference, will be held on Sunday
21st April in Manchester City Centre, and we're looking for someone to come
along for a few hours and give a class/workshop on maintaining the Ubuntu
packageset.
We're looking to provide some classes and
debian/control probably plays some role in that, though I'm not sure how
you would go about setting up an environment in which to test that.

Presumably the user already has the application in question open, so it
would be simpler to allow them to point to an open window and have the
reporting program work out the package from that.
Now that does sound like a good idea. Do you if there's anything in GTK
that can extract meta data
