I was just told the following should do it:
dash -> Security & Privacy -> Diagnostics -> Send Error
Reports to Canonical

This is a request for a setting that would be useful for power users
that would like to be able to disable crash notifications on their
Ubuntu desktop. Currently, when I reboot I am presented with many
crashes that I have already reported, or are irrelevant/etc. It would be
great if I could opt-out
