I first wanted to thank you for your decent job on the distro. However,
surely I would haven't fired off an email, unless there was a complaint
(sorry).
I'm just a little appalled at the state of audio support on Linux (I believe
this issue is not Ubuntu only); I was trying

A former Canonical employee is mentioned in that article as a major maintainer.
I just read an interesting article on Phoronix and while looking at the
contributors you can see that Ubuntu/Canonical isn't mentioned at all.
Oh, if it's a Flash issue, just install libflashsupport

I guess the problem is due to lack of integration of Flash Player
