What are your hardware specs and SSD model?
Try passing libata.force=noncq as kernel boot param and see if it helps?
Helps with my Intel DP5DP motherboard and Crucial M225 SSD (IndiLinux
barefoot controller/firmware)...

i spoke to the guy who runs the official ubuntu-audio-dev ppa and he let me
know it would be extremely unlikely to be fixed byu ubuntu/canonical by lucids
final release. you see these types of bugs all the time. we'll get it next
distro :)

Using 10.04 beta2. When gnome starts, an icon shows up on the desktop
for a blank CD-ROM. When double-clicked, this goes to the burn://
folder in nautilus. However, there is no disc in either drive, and when
you attempt to actually burn files in this manner, the only option you

my (valuable) sources have nearly been nicked, my backupsituation is
precarious atm... must be some kinda cyberwar i think..
