Hi Jack,
Vivid and Wily both have 4.0.1. Trusty has 4.0.0, is that what you're
referring to? That's pretty normal that the LTS will just stick with
that version (with the possibility of specific SRUs of course, but
still no version bump).

I noticed the pidgin-otr plugin has been out of date for a while now. The
version available in the package manager is one version behind.
The latest version (4.0.1) source is available here:
