If the package is not yet in 22.04 it is unlikely to land except via Backports
which is its own process.

I installed libmodbus-dev from https://libmodbus.org/getting_started/
However, I am new to this and have no idea how to "run" libmodbus or even what
the command is.
Can you point me in the right direction? The website seems like it's only for
